Philip L. Chapski, PE

Senior Staff Engineer

Graduated from Northeastern University located in Boston, Massachusetts in 1974 with a Masters in Structural Engineering. First employed by the State of California Department of Water Resources in work on the California Water Plan that distributed water from northern California to southern California by the construction of a series of planned power plants and aqueducts. He moved back to Boston, Massachusetts and worked with Charles T. Main, a large consulting engineering firm, and the City of Boston Building Department, where he was responsible for enforcing the Boston Zoning and Building Codes. In 1982, Mr. Chapski moved his family to Atlanta, Georgia where he accepted a position as an engineering manager for a design build firm that had just started an office in the Atlanta area. Over the years Mr. Chapski has had positions with various engineering firms and has acquired diverse engineering experience in environmental, civil, and structural areas. Mr. Chapski has been with C&I since 2004. Mr. Chapski is a registered professional engineer in seven states, including California, and is an active member of both the American Society of Civil Engineers and American Concrete Institute.
